YOUNG DEVOTEES DEVELOP A RESPECT FOR ALL RELIGIONS OF INDIA
“Just as a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life.”-Buddha Presidians of grade 3 went to visit different religious places to acquire knowledge about the world they live in. Students were able to relate to the differences among various religions and develop a respect for them. They experienced diversity in language, clothes, and culture. They learned the significance of langar, prasad, tilak, jal, etc while exploring temple and gurdwara. This visit to the religious places infused spirituality in Presidians and developed a respect for all religions.
GANDHI JAYANTI:PRESIDIANS REMINISCE GANDHIJI’S HISTORICAL MOMENTS

Gandhi jayanti is celebrated across the country on 2nd October to commemorate the birth anniversary of Father of Nation. Mahatma Gandhi played a pivotal role in the freedom struggle of India. His non violent and peaceful methods were the foundation for gaining independence from the British. On this occasion Presidians took part in a play showing the life of Gandhiji while struggling for the Independence of India.They presented the different historical moments like Satyagraha Andolan, Dandi March etc. At the end, students learned about Gandhiji's work and his rules to live life .
WORLD HEART DAY: LET’S SWITCH TOWARDS A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
‘The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they are felt with the heart.’ Young Presidians celebrated World Heart Day at Presidium. They participated in many activities such as puppet making, slogan writing, poems, etc. which threw light on the importance of a healthy heart for a healthy lifestyle. The informative fun learning activities enlightened the Presidians to make a good shift to healthy eating and regular exercising.
PRAISEWORTHY POWERFUL PERFORMANCES AT INTERCLASS DANCE CONTEST
Dance is a wonderful way to introduce young children to the world's rich diversity and enable them to enjoy the art of dance, music, and rhythm. It also provides opportunities for socialization and creates room for self-expression. With this thought and to showcase the hidden talents of the students of grades nursery and prep, Presidium organized an Inter Class Dance Competition under 'Rhyme of the Soul’ academy. The attractive costumes, fluid dance movement, and fascinating props made it tough for the judges to decide the winners. Students' efforts and initiative were appreciated by one and all.
STORY READING COMPETITION: YOUNG READERS SAVOR THE MAGIC OF BOOKS

The importance of reading cannot be understated. Reading broadens vocabulary, increases general knowledge and a better understanding of other cultures.
Presidium organised an Intra Class Story Reading Competition for grades 1 to 3. The competition inculcated confidence in the students and developed their oratory and articulation skills.
CELEBRATING THE LITTLE ANGELS OF THE FAMILY ON DAUGHTER’S DAY
‘A daughter makes a difference in a family with the love she gives, the thoughtfulness she shows and the memories she creates.’ Daughter’s day is celebrated to honor daughters and appreciate their dedication to family. Their strengths are beyond comparison. The students gathered together to celebrate this day in the assembly organized. They effectuated energetic and beautiful dance performances and also understood the message depicted in the slogan ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’. The assembly was concluded with the National Anthem.
WORLD OZONE DAY: PRESIDIANS HOSTED A WORTHWHILE ASSEMBLY
World Ozone Day, a day to spread awareness about the depleting ozone layer. Ozone helps in safeguarding ourselves from the harmful Ultra Violet rays of the sun. Presidium Vivek Vihar celebrated World Ozone Day by hosting a special purposeful assembly on the theme, ‘A healthy atmosphere- the future we want’. Students shared the importance of protecting ourselves from ozone layer depletion by avoiding excessive sun exposure as well as encourage all to switch to renewable sources of energy. Later, the event comprised of dance performances which added the entertainment quotient in the assembly.
ENGINEER’S DAY: PRESIDIANS SALUTE THE PROFESSION OF ENGINEERS!
"Science can amuse and fascinate us all, but it is engineering that changes the world”- Isaac Asimov Every year Engineer's day is celebrated in India to give a tribute to the greatest Indian Engineer, Mokshagundam Visvesvarya who also received India's highest honour, the Bharat Ratna in 1955. Presidians celebrated this day with enthusiasm and came to know about the importance of this profession. ‘Scientist dream about doing great things, engineers do them.’
STUDENTS SPREAD A STRONG MESSAGE ON INTERNATIONAL DEMOCRACY DAY
Democracy is about people. It is built on inclusion, equal treatment and participation. It is a fundamental building block for peace, sustainable development and human rights. Democracy provides the natural environment for the protection and effective realization of human rights. True democracy is a two way street, built on a constant dialogue between civil society and political class. As we mark Democracy Day, we urge all governments to respect the right to active, substantive and meaningful participation. We as a Presidium family salute all who strive tirelessly to make this happen.
हिंदी दिवस पर प्रेसीडीअंस ने लिया संस्कृति को जीवित रखने का प्रण
अंग्रेजी भाषा की बढती मांग और हिंदी का वजूद बनाए रखने के लिए हर साल देश भर में 14 सितम्बर को हिंदी दिवस मनाया जाता है l
इस अवसर पर विद्यालय में विशेष सभा का आयोजन किया गया l सभा की शुरूआत दिल को छू लेने वाली कविता ‘हिंदी हूँ मै हिंदी ‘ के गायन के साथ हुई l हिंदी भाषा का महत्त्व व वर्तमान समय में इसकी दशा को समझाने के लिए विद्यार्थियों ने भाषण, कविता व नुक्कड़ नाटक की प्रस्तुति की l सभा के अंत में विद्यार्थियों व शिक्षक गण ने प्रण लिया कि वे हिंदी भाषा के उत्थान के लिए भरसक प्रयत्न करके हिंदी संस्कृति को जीवित रखेंगे l
