Keeping this in mind, Presidium, organized a virtual Dice Breaker Activity for Grade 1. It is a fun and challenging game; through it, students learn to identify the digraph, identify its sound & make a word with the help of a letterbox. Students enjoyed doing these activities, which involved them searching the correct digraph from the letters box which is visible on the dice rolling by the teacher and then they also have to come up on the screen with its sound and make one word from that digraph & have to show the same object as well to its peer group. Through this activity, students began to understand digraph and sounds that can be used to form words. They began to make a word with digraph and also able to share sentences by using that word. Additionally, this activity has built the identification, listening, and focusing skills of our students.
