With great zeal and gusto, students of Presidium School celebrated Father’sDay honoring all fathers for all their love, care and support.. The fevor amongst the children was unmatched. From board games to preparing delicious deserts , the father child duo did it all. It was a delight to see them both sharing the dance floor . Students also made beautiful posters and greeting cards to express their love for the special one. It was a magical day, with memories created for a lifetime.

National technology day is observed on 11th May every year in India. It is celebrated every year in order to mark the anniversary of the Pokhran nuclear test in 1998. On this day, India successfully tested the Shakti 1 Nuclear missile at the Indian Army Pokhran test range in Rajasthan. Young Presidians celebrated the day with full zeal and enthusiasm. They thanked all the researchers and innovators who made remarkable contributions to Science and Technology by drawing beautiful posters. Students also participated in a quiz wherein they answered the questions very well and also enhanced their knowledge. One of the objectives of celebrating National Technology day is to inspire upcoming generations for higher studies and research in Technology.

Eid-UL-Fitr is a festival of prayers, joy, happiness, and brotherhood. Eid was celebrated with great fervor and excitement. The celebration began with an informative presentation by the teachers in which she explained to the students the meaning and purpose of RAMZAN. Eid ul Fitr, also known as Meethi Eid, is considered one of the biggest and most awaited festival in the Muslim community; it's celebrated worldwide after the Holy Month of Ramzan. Eid is celebrated after Muslims fast for one month and pray for forgiveness from the Almighty. Eid is a very happy festival where people from all castes and creeds come together and hug each other to wish "Eid Mubarak." Indeed it was a wonderful celebration and students enjoyed it with full zeal.

Presidians hosted their mothers on the special occasion of Mother’s Day to honour their miraculous mothers. A host of performances were planned to acknowledge and appreciate mothers. Mother’s Day cards, messages and photographs adorned the screen. Parents were entertained by myriad presentations by juniors and seniors. Rhyme recitations, songs, dance performances and story enactments mesmerized the audience. All the performances exalted the mother as God, teacher, friend, philosopher and guide and reiterated the truth that a mother’s love for her child is like nothing else in the world. ‘Letters of Love’ written by the students on beautiful handmade crowns filled the hearts of their mothers. The day ended with all mothers and children enjoying themselves and taking back fond memories of a day well spent.

Amidst the fear and panic caused by the outbreak of the threatening pandemic, we at Presidium Vivek Vihar celebrated Kabi guru Rabindranath Tagore’s birth anniversary very differently this year. His wise words in the Crisis of Civilisation are remembered even today when the world is facing this tragic situation. The theme of the virtual celebration was “Amra Korbo Joy”. The online event was a mix of Tagore’s poems and songs befitting the theme. Presidians of Grades 4 & 5 participated wholeheartedly in the event. They highlighted the importance of poetry by reciting English and Hindi versions of Tagore’s poems from Gitanjali. They even sang the Bengali song “Amra Korbo Joy”. The assembly was both informative and enlightening.

World Heritage Day is observed every year on April 18 to preserve the human heritage and recognize the efforts of the organizations working for it. This day is celebrated to maintain the legacy and save the rich heritage given to us by our ancestors. To celebrate World Heritage Day, Presidium organized an assembly as well as an informative virtual tour of various historical monuments for young Presidians. Recognizing India's rich and vibrant culture, Presidians hosted an assembly where they made posters and shared their thoughts and views on heritage and its significance. They shared about various historical places they have visited and discussed the importance of celebrating world heritage day. Paying tribute to World's wonderful heritage, our young intellectuals promised to preserve, protect and conserve our extraordinary cultural heritage!

Presidium school celebrated Baisakhi with great zest and fervour. The day began with thanking the almighty for his divine grace and was carried forward by a cultural show depicting the significance of Baisakhi. The beats of the dhol brought vibrancy to the environment. They were engaged in creating Baisakhi craft as takeaways. A skit highlighting the establishment of Khalsa Panth in Punjab and the birth of Sikhism was presented, followed by a puppet show conveying the importance of consistent hard work and a bhangra performance. The students were reminded of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters in Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar. The show ended with a short video on the history of Baisakhi.
