ARTISTS EXPLORE THE WORLD UNDER WATER IN COLOURING COMPETITION
To explore the creative potential in the young minds of our children, an Intra Class Colouring Competition was conducted at Presidium, Vivek Vihar. The theme of the activity was “Magic Under Water” around which the students showed their creative skills in colouring. The budding artists came up with the amazing artwork. Each drawing was done beautifully by the students and it was a treat to the eyes. Yet again, they have proved that they are not only excelling in academics, but also shining in co-curricular activities.This fun filled competition witnessed an enthusiastic participation by all the students!
PRESIDIANS HONOUR NELSON MANDELA WITH A SPECIAL ASSEMBLY
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” -Nelson Mandela
Mandela Day is a global call to bring the people around the world together, to fight poverty and promote peace. It is an Annual International Day in honour of Nelson Mandela. Our students hosted a special assembly on this day. The assembly started with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra followed by a beautiful thought that had come from Nelson Mandela himself: “The greatest glory in living lies not in falling but in rising every time we fall.” Students passed on this message to their peer group with full conviction. They all vowed that they won’t be afraid of failures and will strive to become risk takers, doers and achiever’s. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
HONOURING GURUS FOR THEIR DIVINE TEACHINGS ON GURU PURNIMA
Guru purnima is celebrated on the full moon day in the month of July of hindu calendar to pay our homage to the lineage of spiritual masters. It coincides with the holy birthday of Shri Veda Vyasa. The compiler of the four vedas and eighteen puranas. The festival of guru purnima was celebrated in our school with a special assembly which was dedicated to the teachers, the gurus. To mark the event, students gave token of love to the teachers. Students participated in a dance performance too wherein they showcased the importance of Guru Purnima & depicted that everyday could be Guru Purnima in their lives when they honour what life has taught them.
THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW CELEBRATE WORLD YOUTH SKILLS DAY

Skill development is the primary means of enabling young people to make a smooth transition to work.The goal is to achieve better socio-economic conditions for today's youth addressing the challenges of unemployment. Youth skill day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Presidium. The celebration started with a special assembly comprising of thoughts, speeches, slogans and a small skit. They came dressed as different skilled persons and represented their field of work. The students learnt and were motivated to maintain the youthful spirit always.The show came to a closure with National Anthem.
PRESIDIUM GATES OPEN TO WELCOME EXCITED STUDENTS AFTER VACATIONS
Vacations are one of the best parts of the school, but what is better is to meet your dear friends and loving teachers. As the vacations wrapped up and the scent of new beginnings spread in the air, it was time for Presidium, Vivek Vihar to welcome the thunderous roar of children, who were heading back to school after their long break. To keep the Indian Tradition alive , the teachers welcomed their students by putting a tika on their forehead. The students proactively participated in many ice - breaking activities such as cleaning the yard, frisbee throw, keep the balls into the bucket which also helped children develop various skills such as - locomotor skills, gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination and so on. The activities were followed by an interactive session with their class teachers. It was the perfect start to a new glorious academic year.
RHYME RECITATION COMPETITION ENHANCES CONFIDENCE OF STUDENTS
An Intra Class Rhyme Recitation Competition was recently organized at Presidium Vivek Vihar for Grades Nursery & Prep. The students got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence using the beauty of poetry. The competition inspired the children to come forward and recite on stage. Students recited poems on topics like patriotism, women empowerment, childhood and so forth. They were judged on the parameters like voice, rhythm, confidence, presentation, and modulation. The judges appreciated and applauded the performance of the participants. It was a wonderful learning experience for the students.

SUMMER CAMP: BEATING THE HEAT IN A FUN WAY!
Presidium recently organised a Summer Camp which was designed with a motive to utilize the summer vacations of the students in the most productive manner where the learning process goes hand with hands on fun activities. After days full of activities and acquiring skills, finally came the day to culminate the Camp and a day for our Presidians to showcase the newly learnt skills to their parents & grandparents. The Campus was echoing with the smiles and confidence inculcated. The happy faces, the enchanted pieces of art and wonderful dance drama performances made the culmination a Day to behold.
The success of camp, full of varied activities carefully concocted for kids during summer break, was clearly visible with the grand culmination ceremony and parents & grandparents blessed their children with their highly appreciable words. Their overwhelming feedback showered delightment on the campus. The words were add on toppings and it in turn proved both as mutual partners in learnings.
TBL CULMINATION: WHICH SPORTS PERSONALITY ARE YOU
Play excites every child. The role of play is not just to make children happy and excited, they begin to understand their world through playing. It allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, physical and cognitive and emotional strength. It's through play that children at a very early age engage and interact with the world around them. To culminate this interesting theme at Presidium, students were asked to dress up as any famous sports personality of their choice. They spoke a few lines about the personality they were representing and why they are most inspired by them. This activity encouraged them to work in groups, share, negotiate, resolve, conflicts and develop self advocacy skills. It was a wonderful learning experience for our students.
BUDDHA PURNIMA CELEBRATION BRINGS PEACE TO OUR YOUNG SOULS
“Neither fire nor wind, birth nor death can erase our good deeds.” - Gautam Buddha On the occasion of Buddha Purnima, Presidians of Vivek Vihar branch honoured and remembered the life and preachings of the great saint and preacher, Gautam Buddha whose Eight Fold Path teaches us to end suffering, ushers our souls to the path of righteousness. With eloquent words and impressive presentation, the students of grade 1 to 5 took everyone on Buddha’s journey from being Prince Siddhartha to the ascetic sage, Gautam Buddha. The high spirited assembly inspired everyone and was greatly applauded by one and all.
