Play excites every child. The role of play is not just to make children happy and excited, they begin to understand their world through playing. It allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, physical and cognitive and emotional strength. It's through play that children at a very early age engage and interact with the world around them. To culminate this interesting theme at Presidium, students were asked to dress up as any famous sports personality of their choice. They spoke a few lines about the personality they were representing and why they are most inspired by them. This activity encouraged them to work in groups, share, negotiate, resolve, conflicts and develop self advocacy skills. It was a wonderful learning experience for our students.
